Print page 1 on ordinary paper to fold into an envelope. Use this separate stationery when mailing a letter so the Wishbook stays intact.

Dear Santa,

Something that made me smile this year…

A few things I am wishing for…

One wish I have for someone else…

A kind thing I would like to do…

For grown-ups: mailing a real letter

In the United States, USPS Operation Santa lists this address:

Santa
123 Elf Road
North Pole, 88888
  1. Check the current season’s dates and instructions on the official USPS Operation Santa website.
  2. Follow USPS instructions for the writer’s full name and return address in the letter and on the envelope. Add these privately on paper.
  3. Use a suitable envelope and sufficient postage. USPS calls for a First-Class stamp on a standard letter; extra weight can require more postage.
  4. Let an adult check and mail it. Keep glitter and glued-on decorations off the letter.

Operation Santa is a gift-adoption program, not a guaranteed reply service. Mailing does not guarantee publication, adoption or a gift. USPS may publish letters with identifying information removed. MyWishbook does not collect, submit or mail your letter.

For a family-only tradition, place the letter in a home “North Pole postbox.” Outside the U.S., use your local postal service’s official seasonal program.
